Emmerson Mnangagwa has been chided for appointing ‘clueless’ Jenfan Muswere as Minister of ICT after his embarrassing interview in Geneva about Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Concerned citizens have blasted Mnangagwa for this decision along with the appointment of Cain Mathema in the Education sector.
The interview was held a few months ago when Muswere was the deputy minister of the ICTs ministry.
An article published by the TechZim said “His promotion to head up this crucial ministry clearly tells us that Mnangagwa doesn’t know the importance of technology or that he doesn’t care.
Muswere should not be anywhere near his position” read the article.
Mnangagwa has continued to be criticized for his appointment of loyalists who are clueless to the ministries they are being appointed to.
