The award winning musician Minister Micheal Mahendere has been nominated for the Crown Gospel Awards.
The Crown Gospel Awards are an annual awards ceremony on SABC to celebrate African gospel artists all over the world.
Minister Mahendere is nominated in the Best Of Africa category among other artists such as Uche and Yvonne May from Nigerian.
He has been in the entertainment industry since early 1990s as a member of Mahendere Brothers with his brothers.
He has won several awards such as Best African Gospel Artist for INGOMA awards and Best Album Of The Year for Permican Awards in 2016
