Nelson Chamisa’s right hand woman, Fadzai Mahere has blasted the Gender Commission for trying to impose a dress code for women.
She said that imposing a dress code for women would never solve the scouge of s_3xual harassment. It has always been put on record that the way some women dress has a contribution to them being s_xuallu harrassed.
The MDC secretary for Education went on to give an advice to the Gender Commission and said it was very important for it to set up and establish victim friendly complaints mechanism and set up intricate investigative practices to curb and unearth incidents of the prevalent practice.
Some people then responded and said that idea is good but it’s got to do with responding after s3xual harrassment, they however explained that the measure of imposing dress code is about trying to prevent the practice not responding to it.
