The ZRP has discovered 210 police helmets hidden at Robbinson house which is next to MDC headquarters Harvest house now renamed Morgan Tsvangirai House.
The ZRP claims that the helmets belongs to MDC as some ring leaders who had attacked police officers retreated into the basement where the police followed and made the discovery.
The state broadcaster presenter reported that 256 helmets where discovered while the police said 210 only where discovered with the other 46 being council helmets.
The police also claimed that the MDC used the basement to keep stones also.
The police also said that MDC hooligans had developed an escape route through the front of the Robbinson building to use the underground basement when they are under attack.
