The power crisis in Zimbabwe has deepened as some power stations no longer produce electricity. Zimbabweans are now getting up to 22 hours with no electricity.
An update from Zim Energy Council stated:
Power Update:
Hwange is precariously very low, generating only 253MW out of the 900MW, Kariba down to 165MW out of 1050MW, Munyati, Bulawayo at zero and Harare at 14MW. Total power generated 432MW against demand of 2200 MW.
