Warriors were on a brink of another humiliation at home after a late equalizer from Somalia which all the visitors needed to secure a win. However thanks to the Kaizer Chiefs Talisman who fired up a late victory in the injury time to give his country some lifeline. A late free kick which took a deflection into the back of the net in the 87th minute gave the boys some hope as they needed to score another goal to frustrate the Somalis.
This means Warriors advance to the next round where they will meet the continent’s top 26 ranked in Africa for the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
