Zimbabwean ICT Minister , Tatenda Mavetera is today remembering her late mother.
Mavetera said 29 years ago on the 20th of September 1996 her world changed forever highlighting that it’s the day that’s she lost her guiding angel.
She said she remembers vividly every minute and hour as it passed and to make matters worse is that she was only ten years old.
“Today, I do not just mourn her loss; I commemorate her life and the incredible guidance she instilled in me in those ten short years. Her strength, work ethic, love, and prayerful life are the foundation upon which I have built my life…” she said.
Mavetera said there is not a day that goes by that she doesn’t wish she was here to see the work that she is doing and the woman that she has become.
