In a blistering post on social media, Mutami mocked Chivhayo, calling him the “biggest thief in Zimbabwe” and rejecting the notion that she, or the Zimbabwean people, need his flashy handouts.
She sarcastically suggested he should buy a car for an influencer who “twerks for him daily,” making it clear she has no interest in his wealth or favors.
She went further, throwing personal insults at Chivhayo, referencing his failed marriage, questioning his masculinity, and warning that his current influence will not protect him forever.
“Your days are numbered in Xi Jinping’s voice. Very soon the roles will be reversed, and you’ll be in jail just like Mike Chimombe and Moses,” she warned, referencing recently jailed Zimbabwean figures linked to political and financial scandals.
Mutami also criticized the political climate under President Emmerson Mnangagwa, calling Chivhayo a “mouthpiece” for the regime’s unconstitutional power grabs. She accused the ruling elite of attempting to buy public loyalty with depreciating assets like luxury cars, while the broader population suffers.
