Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa shared his thoughts on the eviction of vendors from the streets.
He stated that as a nation people should be considerate and when evicting people from the street they should ensure there is place they can earn ends meet.
Makandiwa said he did not support them running their stalls illegally, they should do it the right way , however the government initiative to evict them is somewhat unfair.
He gave an example of an old woman who caters for seven grand kids and being a street vendor is a way she can survive evicting her is taking away the spoon that feeds her.
He said the eviction should come with a back up plan on how people can survive, a place they can go to.
