Minister Tatenda Mavetera has responded to allegations of holding a bogus PHD and paying another academic to write for her.
The Minister expressed that she did not even know anyone from Mutare and as such these claims were baseless.
She also stated that she was a law bidding citizen and a registered student at MSU.
“I am glad MSU confirmed that I am a current student, WUA also confirmed I am a former student,” she wrote.
This led to an outburst from people such as Hopewell Chin’ono who asked her why she was using Dr as she does not have a PHD as yet.
“Why are you still prefacing your name with’Dr’ when you don’t have a PHD or even a recognized honorary degree,”
This is after the PHD she had received was revoked by the High Court on basis that the institution was bogus.
