Yadah TV, the television station operated by controversial religious leader Walter Magaya is shutting down after six years of operation.

The channel 281 is purportedly shutting down on the 31st of January 2025.

This comes in the wake of mounting criticism regarding Magaya’s qualifications and credibility, particularly after a recent exposé by the University of South Africa (Unisa) that questioned his educational background.

Magaya, who has been labeled a “fake prophet” by critics, has faced significant backlash for allegedly misleading his followers and exploiting their trust for financial gain.

Yadah TV thanked its viewers for their support over the years and announced that the final broadcast would take place on January 31.
