In response to recent media inquiries regarding the academic qualifications of Walter Magaya, the University of South Africa (UNISA) has issued a statement clarifying the situation.
The communication, addressed to Mr. Maynard Kudakwashe Manyowa, emphasizes that the university could not verify any student records linked to Magaya.
The letter, attributed to UNISA’s Media Affairs department, stated that the university’s investigation did not yield any information concerning Walter Magaya’s enrollment or qualifications.
It further noted that the university requires specific details, such as a student number or date of birth, to conduct a thorough search.
