A 31-year-old man has been sentenced to five years after pleading guilty to impregnating his 14-year-old sister.
The accused, who was not named, had initially denied the charges before changing his plea to guilty, acknowledging his actions were inappropriate and harmful.
The court heard that he engaged in consensual sexual intercourse with his sister severally between August and December last year.

The family reported the matter to the police after noticing signs of pregnancy. The girl was subsequently taken to the local hospital for medical attention, where the pregnancy was confirmed.
