King Misuzulu KaZwelithini has responded to a court application filed by one of his wives seeking to stop him from marrying Queen Nomzamo Myeni.

In response, he stated that he had no intentions to remarry until his divorce proceedings were finalized. The matter is to be heard today at the Pietermaritzburg Court.

King Misuzulu KaZwelithini reportedly canceled his wedding to his third wife to be, Queen Nomzamo Myeni.

In a letter directed to the Director General of the KZN provincial government, the King asked the government to withdraw the Queen’s security and other benefits that were provided to her as Royal Queen.

He announced that the wedding had been called off but did not elaborate. He cited reasons beyond the royal family’s control.
