Haddon& Sly was closed by Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA), this building had more than 300 small shops.

This move by Zimra has left sho owners and employees frustrated and in distress as their only means for survival has been shut down.

It is said they were told to leave and H&S was locked up and they were all left standing outside.

This is said to be the beginning of the worse that is yet to come in 2025.

In 2025 it has been reported that the government wants to introduce a new tax whereby an individual earning $100 or more will be taxed 20% of their salary.

The closure of H&S has exposed over 700people whose livelihood is solely dependant on the shops that have been shutdown.
