In a new development Botswana is said to offer parents of new born babies a grant of $22 every month.
For the first three months the government is to also supply free diapers and milk.
Botswana is already well known for its generosity when it comes to health care, free education, land and legal representation.
Botswana also offers allowances to those living with disabilities as well as elders.
