Ugandan opposition leader Bobi Wine has been shot and injured, his party the National Unity Platform (NUP) has announced.
The opposition leader was reportedly shot in the leg by security forces in Bulindo, Kira in Wakiso district.
Videos circulating on social media show Bobi Wine being helped up into a waiting Toyota Harrier by his team.
Wine was carried to the hospital for medical attention.
