Sunday Times newspaper reports that MTN CEO, Ralph Mupita has clashed with senior execuives over his relationship with a senior female executive.
– The MTN Board is investigating the relationship
– Mupita is being accused of trying to transfer the responsibilities of other executives to the unnamed executive
– The South African CEO, Charles Molapisi is named as one of the CEOs that has clashed with Mupita
– A whistleblower complaint has been received over the issue
– The nominations committee that will decide on Mupita’s future will has been postponed by three months
– Mupita has accused executives of trying to oust him.
War Veterans to make statement on Chiwenga and a position on calls by provinces for Mnangagwa to stay beyond the end of his term. Masvingo has already declared their opposition to Mnangagwa’s planned third term. A dossier is being prepared for release on Chiwenga.
Chatunga Mugabe has been released on free bail to 16 September when he appeared in court.Chatungwa was taken to Beitbridge police station before appearing before Magistrate Takuswa Gwazemba. v& A Waterfront auctioned off Drip’s assests but only raisd R94 000. This comes after Drip footwer failed to pay rent for a shop and storeroom at V & A Waterfront and vacated the shop. The landlord is now taking Dip Footwear to the High court over R1.1 million unpaid rent. drip left the shop in June 2024, before the expiry of their lease which was supposed to be in July 2024. The shop has now been let out after V& A spent R160 000 to restore the shop to its original condition.
Chidima Adetshina wins Miss Universe Nigeria 2024. Chidima will represent Nigeria in Miss Universe Mexico. Shw was representing Taraba state and has said she will not be returning to South Africa.
