Five foreign nationals, including four Zimbabweans and a Mozambican, have been sentenced to 65 years in prison each in South Africa for various crimes, including murder, robbery, and housebreaking.

The Polokwane High Court handed down the sentences after the men were convicted of a series of violent crimes committed in the Limpopo Province in 2020.

Each suspect received 15 years for murder, 15 years for robbery, 10 years for housebreaking, and 10 years for attempted murder.

The sentences will run concurrently, with each suspect serving a minimum of 20 years in prison.
