Prominent journalist Hopewell Chin’ono has called for Vice President Kembo Mohadi to retire due to ill health and old age.
This comes after Mohadi said he is not suck but old, in a post share by The Mirror.
Taking to X, Hopewell said, its high time Mohadi steps down from power just like all old people do.
“The Vice President of Zimbabwe must do what all old people do, retire! A real patriot knows when to leave the stage and allow younger citizens to run the country. That is what patriotism means”.
Early this month, Mohadi appeared to be colapsing while addressing students at the University of Zimbabwe.
Chin’ono said it is not nice watching “our leaders collapse in public due to old age, that is a sad spectacle. Why not retire?”
