Thousands of Vapostori and MaZion for ED members gathered in Chitungwiza, chanting slogans supporting President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s bid to extend his term beyond 2028.
The constitution limits presidents to two terms, but Mnangagwa’s supporters are pushing for him to stay in office until 2030.
Vice-President Kembo Mohadi attended the event, praising the churches for voting for Zanu PF in the 2023 elections.
