The Herald reports that Elon Musk’s global satellite internet provider Starlink has applied for a license to operate in the country.
Potraz director-general Gift Machengete revealed this in Bulawayo on Tuesday during a question and answer session at a business function.
Machengete said Potraz is now in the process of looking Starlink’s application.
“We are also a regulator, we need to see how we regulate them. We also have to look at consumer and data protection”, said Gift.
