Econet has suspended trading in Zimbabwean dollar with effect from 05 April 2025.
In a statement, Econet said it has suspended ZWL trading in preparation of currency changeover in the system.
The remarks come in the wake of the introduction of the structured currency.
With effect from 5 April 2024, the banking sector will convert the current Zimbabwe dollar balances into the new currency.
