A group of concerned Zimbabweans , led by artist, Brilliant Pongo, have launched a petition to call for the removal of Zimbabwe Ambassador at large, Uebert Angel.
The petition reads:
Petition Urging President Mnangagwa to Address Ambassador Uebert Angel’s Alleged Misconduct
To: President Emmerson Mnangagwa
We, the undersigned, respectfully petition you to address the alleged misconduct of Ambassador Uebert Angel and take decisive action to uphold accountability and justice.
It has come to our attention that Ambassador Uebert Angel has been implicated in various cases of extortion, fraud, and abuses of multiple forms. Furthermore, there are concerns that Ambassador Angel may be using his proximity to power to intimidate and abuse individuals.
We believe it is crucial for President Mnangagwa to thoroughly investigate these allegations and hold Ambassador Angel accountable for any misuse of his position or involvement in illegal or unethical activities.
As citizens deeply committed to upholding the principles of transparency, integrity, and justice, we urge President Mnangagwa to take swift and decisive action to address Ambassador Angel’s alleged misconduct and ensure that all Zimbabweans are treated with dignity and respect.
