Urban grooves singer Rockford Josphat popularly known as Roki has revealed how pride destroyed his career.

Writing on Facebook, Roki said he was not bewitched instead he made wrong choices.

He posted: “I don’t think pane akandiroya. Wrong choices urimudiki, patakazvitanga zvaispaka fame yakapinda mumusoro even though uchigona kuimba zvinoshaya basa”

Rockford Josphat 38, was born in Madagascar and raised in ParkTown Waterfalls Harare, Roki made his debut in 2001 after releasing hits such as “Seiko” which featured Leonard Mapfumo and Suzanna.

The singer advised other musicians to learn from his mistakes.

“So ada musicians must learn from my mistakes…. thank God ndakakurumidza kuzviona fast 🙏😇”
