Self-imposed Citizens Coalition for Change interim Secretary General Sengezo Tshabangu has stated that the party leader Nelson Chamisa has no power to make recalls.
This comes after Chamisa wrote to the local government minister recalling 7 councillors for disloyalty.
Chamisa fired Harare Mayor Jacob Mafume and six other councillors for aligning themselves with Tshabangu.
In a statement, Tshabangu said only he can recall CCC MPs and councillors.
