BREAKING: Chamisa recalls the Harare Mayor, Jacob Mafume.
The leader of the main opposition CCC, Nelson Chamisa has reportedly expelled the Harare Mayor Jacob Mafume and six councillors who are allegedly working with Sengezo Tshabangu.
Jacob Mafume’s expulsion comes within a month of his re-election as the Harare Mayor after Lovejoy Chitengu was recalled by Sengezo.
Allegations are that Mafume pressured councillors to vote for him on bases that he held much influence in Harare as he was once the Mayor.
Chamisa recalled the 6 councillors and mayor as they are believed to be Sengezo’s puppets.
