Former Norton member of parliament Temba Mliswa has slammed N Richard Group and Gain Cash & Carry for donating mealie meal to President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
Gain Cash & Carry and N Richards Group gave the President 30 tonnes (3000 ×10kg) of mealie meal at the State House, today.
Taking to Twitter Mliswa questioned why Mnangagwa is being dragged in such a flimsy donation.
“This is a joke honestly. How can you drag the Head of State to receive such a flimsy donation? Surely N Richards& Gain Cash&Carry should pull greater weight if they want to donate”, he wrote.
Mnangagwa will donate the mealie meal to less priviledged members of the public of his choice.
Mliswa said the government needs to be careful and not abuse the President and his office.
