Mighty warriors coach, Mlauzi has been acquitted of indecently assaulting Mighty warriors technical charges.
The charges were brought by female technical assistant, Brenda Chaora who claimed that Mlauzi indecently assaulted her at Hotels in Harare and South Africa.
Harare Magistrate, Esther Chichera ruled that Brenda was not a reliable witness as the statement that she gave in court differed to the one she gave to the police.
Mlauzi’s version was that he was in a virtual relationship with Brenda where they used to video chat and flirt through WhatsApp. He showed the court some chats between the two, which occurred after the reported incidents.
Mlauzi said he was disappointed that Brenda decided to press such charges against him as she used to ask him for financial assistance and other favours.
