11 people, including 10 Zimbabweans, were killed in violent door to door mob justice attacks on Friday night. The Zimbabweans were killed in two sections of Diepsloot.

Speaking to Newzroom Africa, a local Operation Dudula leader revealed that one woman was among those killed. He said the woman was suspected of helping criminals to lure victims during armed robberies.

The community leader revealed that the community believed that Ndebele speaking Zimbabweans are responsible for crime in the community and this is why they were targeted.

Zimbabwean activist, Ngqabutho Mabhena, said two of those killed were on their way to church and were not criminals.
