Zanu PF director for Information and Publicity Farai Marapira says Finance Minister Mthuli Ncube will not be running in the December 9 by-election.
In an interview with Cite, Marapira said Ncube out because he has already been appointed as a non-constituency Member of Parliament.
Ncube who lost to Sibanda Pashor was running for mp in the the August 23 elections in Cowdray Park constituency.
This comes as ZANU PF is set to hold its primary elections tomorrow, November 4.
The vacant constituencies are Beitbridge West, Binga North, Bulawayo South, Cowdray Park, Lobengula-Magwegwe, Lupane East, Mabvuku-Tafara, Mpopoma-Mzilikazi, and Nketa.
