Harare Deputy Mayor Kudzai Kadzombe said Prophet T Freddy’s demolished house will be compensated.

The deputy Mayor said this was due to residents petition as these houses were built without doing due diligence on roads in 2017.

Kadzombe explained that it blocked children and residents who had to use long routes to school and work etc.

She said the affected families will be reallocated  new stands and there will be no costs to the victims since the City of Harare will provide everything.

However, Prophet Freddy said they should have allocated them alternative accommodation instead of living them homeless.
