Pan African Parliament (PAP) President Chief Fortune Charumbira ia expected to meet Niger President Mohammed Bazoum today.
Chief Charumbira arrived in Niamey, Niger yesterday.
Taking to Twitter, Charumbira said he will discuss various issues including peace and security, regional integration and support for the Continental Parliament.
“I’m grateful to the President for welcoming me and my delegation”, he wrote.
Charumbira was elected as the 4th vice president of the PAP in October 2018, representing the Southern African Region in the Bureau.
He oversees the portfolios of Plenary, Languages, Committees, Media and Communications.
