Citizens Coalition for Change (CCC) leader Nelson Chamisa says Tendai Biti will occupy a powerful role in his government.
This comes after the Harare East legislator was left out in the party’s candidate selection process.
Addressing the media, Chamisa said Biti does not need to be in parliament as he holds a pivotal role in his government.
He said CCC campaign will not be focused on Parliament but on winning the Presidential election.
“We have been in parliament for a long time and that is not our station of choice at the moment, our station of choice is government, so you will see Mr Biti in government.”
Chamisa said he has already deployed people for parliament there but there are others who are beyond parliament, “they are in government”.
