President Emmerson Mnangagwa is expected to commission Chivhu Dam today in Chivhu, Mashonaland East Province.
The dam is going to supply water to Chivhu town and provide irrigation water for surrounding communities.
The government disbursed US$42 million for the construction of the dam with a 26 million cubic metres capacity.
