Journalists at Trevor Ncube’s Alpha Media Holdings (AMH) have threatened to down tools over low wages.
Trevor is allegedly paying his journalists $20.
In a statement to the Zimbabwe Union of Journalists, workers cited that their salaries have been eroded and theworking conditions are unbearable.
Senior reporters at AMH are getting ZWL260 000 while ZWL255 000 is for junior reporters.
AMH publishes the NewsDay, Zimbabwe Independent and The Standard newspapers and also owns Heart and Soul.
