South African musician Makhadzi has announced she has cut ties with her record label Open Mic Productions after three years of working together.
Makhadzi said she will not attend all bookings made through Open Mic Productions.
This comes after Open Mic sent her a letter informing her that they were extending her contract by another three years without her consent.
The Limpopo-born star said she has been enslaved and treated unfairly adding that she never benefitted from all her successful projects.
