The Newshawks reports that Central Intelligence Organisation (CIO) have denied having any connection with President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s presidential envoy and ambassador-at-large Uebert Angel.
This comes after Angel dragged the national security into his defense after being implicated in the Gold Mafia scandal.
CIO top official told the NewsHawks that there was no intelligence operation during the Aljazeera undercover investigations.
The CIO officers reportedly said Angel’s issue was being taken seriously, and dealt with decisively.
