Bulawayo City Council(BCC) is set to revive the culture of cycling to promote industry development, tourism growth and employment creation.
The cycling culture is expected to decongest the Bulawayo CBD.
BCC’s economic development minister told Southern eye that the idea came from discussions at the International Trade Fair under the theme Reimagine, reinvent, value chains for economic development.
Historically Bulawayo was a cycling town ,and employees from most big companies used bicycles as cheaper mode of transport.
