A defence witness is set to testify that soccer star Senzo Meyiwa was having an affair with Kelly Khumalo’s sister Zandile.
Meyiwa was allegedly not happy in his relationship with Kelly Khumalo and this led to him having a sexual relationship with Zandile.
Lawyer for accused one to four Adv Timothy Thobane revealed during the cross-examination of the state’s third witness Tumelo Madlala in the Pretoria high court on Thursday.
“The witness will testify that Senzo was complaining about this being guarded and he ended up having a sexual relationship with Zandi because Kelly was away for a long time,’’ said Thobane.
The lawyer said Kelly Khumalo was also aware of the relationship and she allowed.
