A lady from Harare has confessed to getting an innocent man arrested for 18years for allegedly raping her.
The unnamed lady said she got Simbarashe arrested because she didn’t know who else to blame after her parents found out that she was no longer a virgin.
The woman said when she was still a teenegaer sometime in 2015, her mum supected that she was no longer intact, she took her to the hospital were it was recorded that she had been raped.
She said she pinned the crime on Simbarashe however, she had not had sex with anyone.
The woman said Simbarashe has been languishing in prison for eight years.She said she has decided to tell the truth because she regrets lying.
