Top Nigerian musician, Davido has slammed DJ Maphorisa for saying Amapiano’s success is because of Wizkid and Burna Boy.
This comes after Davido’s fan tweeted that he brought Amapiano to Nigeria and made the genre popular.
Dj Maphorisa quickly corrected the fan saying Kabza and Maphorisa were the first to put Wizkid and Burnaboy on a amapiano song ‘Sponono’ three years ago.
“Research before tweet also it was the first time Wiz n Burna jumped on a same song together let it sink in”, he wrote.
Davido reaponded saying Dj Maphorisa never liked him thats why he refused to acknowledge him.
“You’ve never liked me y ? I’ve always been good to you …. Anyways! AWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY NOW!!!!!! Chu chu chu chu chu”, he wrote.
