Human rights activist Zenzele Ndebele reports that retired army colonel Tshinga Dube has been nominated for Vice President and 2nd Secretary for ZANU-PF.
Ndebele said War Veterans nominated Dube for Vice President.
“I hear War vets have nominated Tshinga Dube for VP and 2nd Secretary for ZANU-PF,” he wrote.
The vice-president of Zimbabwe is the second highest political position obtainable in Zimbabwe.
Currently there is a provision for two vice-presidents, who are appointed by the president of Zimbabwe.
