Prominent journalist Hopewell Chin’ono has revealed that ZANU PF is planning to hold elections in the first 3 months of 2023.
Chin’ono urged Zimbabweans in South Africa to come back home and register to vote.
“Zimbabweans in South Africa DON’T relax! Come and #RegisterToVote ZANUPF is planning to have an election in the first 3 months of 2023,” he said.
Chin’ono said they should not relax after South Africa Home Affairs Minister Aaron Motsoaledi extended the validity of Zimbabwean Exemption Permits (ZEP) to 30 June next year.
He said Zimbabweans will definitely be kicked out after June, thus; “if you don’t vote, you will come back to a Zimbabwe with 5 more years of ZANUPF rule!”.
