Malawi President Lazarus Chakwera has finished his one-year term as chairperson of the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC).
He handed over to DRC President Felix-Antoine Tshisekedi at the 42nd Ordinary Summit of SADC Heads of State and Government in Kishansa.
Chakwera called upon member countries to be independent of external influence especially the Democratic Republic of Kenya.
