Journalist Edmund Kudzayi has filed a notice of appearance to defend the case in which he is being sued by CCC spokesperson Fadzayi Mahere.
Mahere slapped Kudzayi with a US$100,000 defamation lawsuit after her affair with married Tinashe Murapata was exposed.
Through his lawyers Sande Legal Practice, Kudzayi filed his appearance to defend the lawsuit this Wednesday.
Addressing the issue, Professor Jonathan Moyo said Mahere committed a sin by snatching someone’s husband.
He added that Kudzai must defend the truth in accordance with the rule of law.
