Zambia President Hakainde Hichilema has attended the Bene Mukuni traditional ceremony in Livingstone.
Hichilema said he holds Traditional leaders across the country in high esteem.
Writing on social media, Hichilema said: “we have arrived in our Tourist Capital, Livingstone to attend the BeneMukuni Lwiindi Traditional Ceremony.”
He said Zambia’s traditional ceremonies should be marketed more robustly to drive local and international tourism.
“They showcase our rich diversity and celebrate our illustrious cultural heritage.”
