Botswana police have identified Jahelihle Justice Moyo as one of the two Zimbabweans who were shot and killed in a police shoot today near Botswana college of Engineering and Technology.

According to police, the two were part of a six-member gang that had stolen cellphones at gunpoint earlier in the day.

Meanwhile, two Zimbabwean suspects Alfred Moyo (36), Ephasellow Tanda (45), and one Botswana man Lebogang Bose (33) were arraigned before Extension II Magistrate court for robbery.

On the time of arrest, Tanda was on bail for a robbery committed in January 2021.

The police have recovered three pistols suspected to have used in the commission of the offense and stolen phones were recovered.
