Music mogul and businessman Chicco Twala was arrested o  Monday after allegedly pointing firearm at the head of a City Power technician.

The technician was outside Twala’s Johannesburg recording studio to repair a fault which caused a power outage on Sunday when he was allegedly assaulted by the music mogul.

Chicco said he pointed a toy gun at the two men thinking they were cable thieves who caused a blackout to six houses at his recording studios.

He said his arrest is a blessing and victory to prove to his haters that, “I am not above the law, and no police or judge will protect me if I commit a crime”.

He added that his arrest served as proof that he had not bribed high-ranking officials to protect his son who is implicated in Senzo Meyiwa’s death.
