Vice-President Constantino Chiwenga’s estranged wife Marry Mubaiwa is due for amputation.
Mubaiwa is in a life threatening condition and doctors recommended amputaion on her right arm.
She will be amputated due to a severe sepsis syndrome which has left her lower limbs swollen and infested with boil-like wounds.
Marry’s lawyer Beatrice Mtetwa said she was due to appear before Harare magistrate Lazini Ncube on Tuesday but she had been hospitalised because her current condition is critical.
Marry has been denied permission to access treatment outside the country.
